Every year for the last eight years Swift Industries has hosted a global campout, known as The Swift Campout. The Campout invites fellow adventurous spirits from around the world to join in for a long weekend of bicycle camping to celebrate the longest day of the year. This year Swift invited me to create the identity for the Campout.

A poster was created to celebrate the event. If you’re anything like me you’re likely to find yourself packing the night before the big trip, trying to cram your belongings into your already bulging bags, hoping you haven’t forgotten anything, wondering how you managed to bring all this the last time, and feeling like you should have this down to a science by now. Every camping trip has a story. Good ones have a couple. I wanted this year’s poster to tell the story of the time leading up to a trip, the journey, and the shared experiences with friends.

A badge featuring a fox, Swift’s mascot, was created to serve as the logo for The Campout. The badge and custom color pallet appears throughout their line of bags and merchandise to create a uniform identity for the collection.
